Tinted Float Glass is made by adding coloring agents during the melting process. The common colours tinted are grey, green, bronze and blue. Besides its artistic qualities, is also has different properties such as heat and light reflection, heat and light transmission, ultraviolet transmission, and insulation

What is the use of tinted glass?

Tinting changes the color of the window and can increase visual privacy. The primary uses for tinted glass are reducing glare from the bright outdoors and reducing the amount of solar energy transmitted through the glass.

Can you see through tinted glass?

Tinted windows work by reflecting light from outside and reducing the light that enters. As they block out UV light and sunrays, they do not work the same way during the night. Your windows will not reflect any light during the evening and thus will be visible at night.
